I don't think they mean a complete ban, they couldn't enforce it...I think more of a public place (Swimming Pools etc...)

I have the solution to peadophillia, unfortunately no-one *wants* to solve the problem.

The solution is thus, kill every person under the age of 16, therefore eliminating everyone for whom it is illegal to have sex. Instantly there will be no paedophilic actions taking place and the world is safer and better off. In the same way that the world was saved from mad cow disease by killing animals that have or could have it, by killing children no-one can be perverted by them.

There's been similar discussion - milder though - in Finland. It has not focused so much around pedophilia but the fact that also adult people may find it rude if someone was to take a picture of them naked in a dressing room. And upload the pics who knows where in the net perhaps. Certain rules of privacy must somehow be enforced. Normal cameras are easy to detect but who would suspect someone just holding a phone?

Similar question arises in hospitals. Mobile phones were first banned in hospitals altogether (because of the risk of them interfering with the electrical equipment) but recently patients and staff have in certain places been allowed to use mobile phones. And then come the issues of privacy and confidentiality. Being in a hospital may not be something one would like to advertise, and if a fellow patient takes photos of you on the ward without you knowing about it, well... some find it offensive.

I don't know what the actions will be, but discussion about the rules is not a bad idea. :fadein:

Its not easy to take photos without suspicious you know, especially with P800 since you have to point the camera at an rather direct position.. No, I take photos for my journal but nevertheless, ain't easy. :robot:

It is difficult to controll ppl with cam phones but actually sometimes you might get annoyed in getting photographed without wanting it!
