Oy!
I had one of the faulty GPS's - Running a de-branded V11 UK Generic (in black!) - I took it into the Nokia Care poiint
They replaced the anntenna and the back cover (lens too) and then after about 5 minutes that night i picked up a good solid lock, 4 or 5 sats and didn't jump once. Thinking things can only get better with V12 (ram and C drive have)
I once again changed my product code to the Euro one, it bricked, i flashed, it's alive. Runs better overall.
Now however, i'm getting an even worse signal on my GPS! It's currently sitting in my window of the office (I normally get 3 sats locked at my desk) and it's picking up (at best) ONE satelite in the signal strength part, won't get a lock at all and didn't on my 20 minute drive home yesterday either.
So, what you think? Send it back again? Try the manual fix with a copper wire :-S) Or is there some other fix i don't know of?
