As reported around the web over the weekend, Nokia Messaging for S60 5th Edition has now received full HTML support. As usual, you’ll need to go to email.nokia.com in Web on your phone (a 2MB download). Version 10.1.0.13 will automatically replace your previous installation and will also keep all email accounts and emails. You may remember the issues I've had with Nokia Messaging - at the very least take the usual backups, syncs and precautions before installation.

Not the finished product, graphically doesn't look great, does not have kinetic scrolling throughout the UI...

But definite improvements with:
1) Much more responsive touch than before
2) Html email works, but is a little slow
3) Kinetic scrolling works on HTML email (only)
4) For half a day's use.. actually does push email to your account (the previous one was very on and off) but unconfirmed

Does it interwork with Mail for Exchange? I'm curious if MfE can make use of the HTML rendering?

Has anyone downloaded and actually "SEEN" emails in HTML. I downloaded the new version, but unfortunately I am still not able to see emails in HTML... Am I missing something?

I am on software version 12.0.024 in India.

HTML email still a pipe dream even with the new ver download in US. Damn Nokia!

A bit slow yes, but at least the rendering of the html-mail seems to be very good, at least the few I've received today...
