Hi in First :shakehand:

i had a Problem in my Nokia N95

it Was A gift from friend from UK

First of all when it came it didn't have Arabic language so i took it to the customer care here in Egypt and they gave me Arabic software (i need Arabic only for typing SMS for my friends)

Yesterday i connected it to Nokia PC Suite so it gave me that there is a new software update so i downloaded it and installed it (O2)

But Here Comes The Problem The Arabic support is Gone :dontknow:

so i kept searching for a solution for this but the only solution they gave to me is to change product code for arabic [0534856 ]

I have a Classic Nokia N95 Phone

so is it safe if i changed the product code and Reinstalled the software again

So when I was Searching i found a replay [http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/72400/]
then i thought that before i upgrade it ask is that ok or not.

So Now I Want To Change The Product Code From 0548021 to 0534856

Is That Is Safe Or Not PLZ HELP ME

The Old SW That Have Arabic Support Is V 21.0.0.16

For My Mobile Info. Now After The Upgrade

SW Ver. 31.0.0.17

16-12-08

RM-159

Nokia N95 (65.01)

Original Product Code [0548021]

Made in Finland

Thanks You

Best Regards

1. Yes it is safe - use NSS to change the code, then use NSU to re-apply the latestt firmware.

2. However... Point 1 above will invalidate your Nokia warranty (if you have one)

3. Possible problem: If the handset firmware version is HIGHER than that approved for the arabic product code, NSU will not show any updates available, and will not give you the option to re-install the current Firmware either. This is because downgrading FW can kill Nokia handsets.
