I've got an N97 on V11 exactly the same as Bro In Laws but mine vibrates between lock and unlock 2 vibes for unlock and 1 vibe for lock
But Bro In Laws doesnt vibe at all with unlock button:con?
Any Ideas:con?
His is set up exactly the same as mine and we received them within 24hrs both on same Voda (sh1te firmware)
I think you can change it in the profile section? I may be wrong..
I think it depends upon whether the profile in use has vibrating alerts turned on. My Lock Key doesn't cause vibration in the General Profile (Vibrating Alerts Off), but does in the Silent Profile (Vibrating Alerts On).

Very interesting as ive been fiddling with my profile settings etc for the last 5mins and i cnt get my my lock/unlock key to start vibrating again lol! Seems a random event on my handset. I think it vibrates for, like, the first hour of being on and then it cnt be bothered after that lol!
I bought my handset on Three last month running v11.
Ah well, bring on firmware v20! (You will release this update three or i'll be jolly anoyed!)
