Gonna upgrade from the 5800 to either the N97 or the N97 mini. I do have a query on the screen though.
Correct me if i'm wrong but from what I understand, the N97's screen was more than just a few additional points of an inch. It got new higher quality components and resistive layers that allowed it to be a little more responsive than the 58000's (ok) screen.
With the mini's screen matching the size and resolution of the 5800's, is it likely that Nokia have used the exact same unit for the Mini in order to keep costs down etc? Or is it possible that they took the better components from the N97's screen and simply downsized them to 3.2" giving the same improved sensitivity of the N97?
If i'm forking out for a new phone thats in many ways the same as the one i've already got, I do hope for a bit of improvement on the screen sensitivity.
Any answers greatly appreciated. Thanks
