FAO: A Moderator

Now then, I asked this same question a few weeeks back - all of a sudden, some of my replies were being moderated before being posted up, and I asked why this was.

AFAIK- I wasn't posting anything abusive, using naughty words, expletives, etc.

The only conclusion I could arrive was that the moderated posts where done while I was at work and maybe something to do with a different ISP to what I normally use. Whilst posting from home, they were not moderated and no problem. This message is being sent from work, so will see how long it takes to be 'live'....

I can tell you both that something you said, or where ever you said it from set off the spam filter... which picked up your post to be vaildated (or not) by a moderator.

Can't tell you what it was, because I dont know, but I've cleared out the posts you made as valid. Possibly someone previous to me deleted a lot in a deluge of spam posts and yours got caught up. Lovesign is a name I recognised as not belonging in the spam filter anyway as was nottmbantam (although if thats a bradford f.c. thing perhaps it does 😉 )...

If you made any posts the possibly had a load of links or key words that might have set it off. If theres any probs tho, PM me.

I just made a post (that has now appeared) regarding tagging album art in MP3 files and put a link in to the free & legitimate app that I use, so maybe that triggered it. Anyway, all is well again in AAS world 😊 Thanks.

Correct it is a Bradford City FC thing, don't forget the City, its important to us followers in the lower leagues that you get our name right. Come you Bantams, four wins on the bounce....

Anyway, onto to more serious matters ( although the great Bill Shankly quipped football is not about life or death,its more important than that ) .

My amateur suggestion is kind of right, it seems to be when I post something from work, which sets off the moderated post thing, as when I'm at home ( and currently in a coffee shop ) seem to come through ok.

I did post a second reply, stating that my first had indeed been moderated, but the second one hasn't come through yet. I guess I'd better just read when at work, and not write....

Bradford FC is Bradford (Park Avenue), a much bigger football club than Bradford City (though temporarily in a lower league than them...) 😊

Temporarily in a lower league? Voted out of the Football League in 1970, and went bust in 1974?

Having said that, I'd love to see BPA back in the Football League, have two league teams in the City again.

And anyway, Eccleshill is closer to Valley Parade than to Park Avenue?
