having just got my p800 i can not get it to fully work with my pc 😞
When you install software and set up name it comes up with a database error - the phone is then not recognised in the sync or backup software.
They are connected and i can install programs and view phone via other management software. If i right click on usb cable connection in the sys tray and go to change phone my phone is listed under 'known phones' as 'unconnected' under unknown phones sony ericsson (cable) is listed so pc and base are as such connected.
Im on Winxp (sp1) Office xp (sp2) using usb drivers of sony cd and p800 software of sony site.
I have clean installed windows twice now and always get the same error 😞
Basically its driving me up the wall and i need help !!
