Has anyone else found this yet?

Settings->Phone->Application sett.->Default apps.->Options->Advanced Options
I have a few items in the list:

Open %U
Duck Calls Lite

Open application vnd.google-earth.kml+xml
gmm handler

Open application vnd.google-earth.kmz
gmm handler

Open application vnd.google.gmm
gmm handler

Open application zip
Zip manager

Open text plain
Notes

Open text x-opml
Podcasting

Pressing Options->Change while selected on the first item gives me a choice of Duck Calls Lite or Time Machine.

What the heck is the user variable represented by %U?

Does this mean that the Duck Calls Lite or Time Machine application are trying to put their hooks into the OS for something?
