Mobile Optimised Traffic Search

Right. Using the highways agencies feed I found earlier I've knocked up a searchable UK traffic alerts site at www.davecozens.com/uktraffic

It supports multiple searches, so if you want to search for M5 South and M42 West, just enter: -
M5 South|M42 West
and click the "Search Now" button.

Can be bookmarked with Search params. Might make a widget later...

lol. Not much use to you in Australia.

Nah. Not really. The RSS feeds are provided by the highways agency. All I needed to do was link em up and make em searchable.

I need to drive about 200 miles on my way home and I'd like to see traffic before I hit it. On multiple roads. So I knocked something up to cover my needs.

And then I thinks to myself, somebody else could use this... et voila

All I need now is a way to make it pay for itself if it becomes busy....

The first hit is free then make them pay for the widget.

People probably do not like looking at cats when they are navigating. 😊

Anyhow, bed time. Catch you later.

lol.

I'm thinking premium features: -
- favourites
- auto refresh
- email alerts
- widget support

I'm thinking a quid a month... opinions appreciated

right. i've added some stuff to make it work faster and not fall over when the highways agency feeds are being slow. and i'm detecting symbian and formatting accordingly.

feedback appreciated...
