A Message From Globe Handyphone (Philippines Only)

Only Globe lets you experience Video Messaging first.

Globe gives you the chance to record and exchange video clips.

How do you avail of this Globe Video Software?
Go to any outlet of The Hub (Glorietta 4, Podium, Powerplant).
Get the Video Software for FREE when you purchase a Nokia 7650 handset with or without a G Plan.
G-Plan subscribers who bought their Nokia 7650 from Globe can go to any Globe Business Center in Metro Manila to have the Globe Video software installed in their handsets for FREE.
How much does it cost to send a Video Message?
The introductory rate will be P5.00 per message sent, valid up to March 31, 2003.

Can I send MMS Videos to non-MMS handsets?

Sending of Globe Video Messages is available only to those with Nokia 7650 units with Globe Video Software and the Sony Ericsson P800 as well as the upcoming Nokia 3650.

If I send the video clip to another mobile phone without the Video Software, can the recipient view it?
Owners of Nokia 7650 units cannot view video clips unless the Globe Video Software is installed in the handset.

Why don?t I get confirmation if my Video Message has been sent?

When Globe video messages are sent, no indication is given that the message is being sent. Once you have entered the phone number or email address you are sending the message to, the software reverts to the main page again. To check if the message has been sent, go to your Messaging Outbox or Sent Items of your handset.
How do I retrieve a Video Message sent to me?

Go to "Messaging" in your phone's menu, select "Inbox" then click on the message. A note notifying that a video clip is inserted in the message.

Click on "Options" and select "Objects". Once inside the "Objects" folder, click on "Option" and select "Open". The Video Message will automatically be played.

Why is it that Video Messages take longer to be sent/received?

Video clip files are larger (100kb per file) than the usual text files. As such, it currently takes a little more time for the system to process these files.

Do I have to keep some memory free in my phone?

Video Messages take up a lot of memory. Only having a small amount of memory free in your phone will significantly slow it down and prevent you from taking more pictures.

Can I send a video message to more than one recipient at a time?

Yes, but it is strongly recommend that it is sent to ONLY 1 recipient so as not to have remaining messages queued in the Outbox.

If I send the video clip via e-mail, can it be viewed using any application similar to the Globe Video Software?

If you have configured your handset to send MMS Video via e-mail, your recipient will receive video on PC via e-mail. To play the video, the e-mail recipient needs to download and install the Nokia Multimedia Player which is available on myGlobe website.

How different is the Globe Video software from others?

Globe Video Software allows subscribers to capture AND send Video Messages via MMS. The others only allow you to capture video but not to send it.

Today you can record and share life's precious moments.

So, hurry, avail of Globe's Video Software now!

Share this to your family and friends!

kobe,

Did they say anything about the video messaging, will be availbale here in cebu?

Or is it manila lang? Is there any difference with the Tmobile video messaging?

Ive seen in the newspaper that smart is offering the same service.. With Sound.... Im not quite sure.. pero i think thats what ive read..

I am sure it's gonna work with pre-paid or post-paid. Also entire Philippines.

The reason behind getting it directly from the Globe centers is so that NO ONE CAN HAVE HIS OWN COPY TO HaVE IT PIRATED. That's nice. Only them can install it.

i dont believe that others has no capabilities for sending video to MMS, some program can even record with sound!!! 7650 software... 😃

does a prepaid subscriber of globe can be able to send MMS??? cause mine still no luck since last year!!! i call 211 and still my MMS still not activated!!! any globe customer representative out there!!! pls activate my MMS thank you 😃

In order for you MMS to work, you should call 211 and ask them to activate the GPRS of your phone number. THey will ask your name.

Also, ask them how to activate the MMS. I used the "GO N7650" and sent it to a number I forgot.

Then, you just have to follow it up for 2 weeks. 😃

That's it.

I know that there is an app that could record video with sound at the same time, but I don't have it, don't wanna have it. No use for it anyway. I am sure it's just for a very few seconds, so why bother.
