hotmail on p800

how can i access hotmail or yahoo mail on the p800 using gprs internet connection? is this possible ? what are the settings

Hotmail is html/wml access only i believe - no POP3/IMAP implementation, unless you've actually paid for it. So thus the only way to access it is to browse to www.hotmail.com in Opera, or www.mobile.msn.com/wml in either browser, and sign in and view/send email from there.

whenever i use opera or default browser to log on to hotmail or yahoo mail, after entering username and password, it always says "cookies not accepted" but when i check the preferrences the "always accept cookies" box was checked. how can i remedy this ? thanks

I've been trying to do this for a couple of weeks now and just can't get into hotmail at all on my P800....tried the inbuilt browser, downloaded a newer version of opera and even tried the reqwireless browser...all to no avail..

Hmmmm thats strange. I have no problems with Hotmail whatsoever using my Opera browser. Must be with your service provider

Using UK Orange and what appears to be a standard GPRS connection, can just about get past the hotmail login page with the newer opera browser and then I get some html displayed rather than a page...

I am accessing my bussiness email acount via our webmail and it is secure connection (https) without any probs...

Take a look at OneMail.ToGo
