Hi all.
When someone sends me a file via bluetooth to my e71 (and possibly other symbian phones?) I cant seem to figure out how to save the file to memory card. The attachments open when I access the bluetooth message in my in box. If its an image it prompts me whether I want to save but where it saves I cant figure out. If the file is something like a .txt file it opens, but doesnt prompt to save? Any ideas?
How does one save attachments received via bluetooth?
1) Buy a big microSD card - 4 , 8 or 16GB - and store "everything" when possible on memorycard to keep the phone memory lean and clean .
2) Images , Sounds , Videos are stored in Filemanager > Images , Sounds/Music , Videos . They can be viewed in Gallery .
3) Text Files will stay in Messaging . But there is workarounds to move them .
A) Use PC/Mac and USB cable . Set USB to Filetransfer or PC Suite , when Nokia PC Suite is installed on your Computer .
B) Without Computer you need a third party Filemanager to move or copy the file to Memory . Ali Tan ActiveFile is the best . You can also use DrJukka Y-Browser with attachment plugin .
When the text file cannot be opened by the build-in textviewer , you can try Petnetti LightNotepad .
See this thread for the workaround :
