I bought the 9210 3 days ago from link.
While testing out the recorder noticed it skipped every 3 secs, missing out recordin for 1 second every time. So I returned it and got a new one, however noticed that this one also caught on the same problem. What initiated the problem was trying to record music from my steroe for a ringtone. I think the bass knackered the memory or something coz the record time for a new 9210 16 MB card is 10 minutes and now its just 224 secs. I did not save ne songs or documents.
This seems to be a major bug in the 9210, let me know if that is the case so that I can look into buying another phone.

P.S same problem on both phones !
i don't really know, because I don't have a communicator yet, but I read on some other forum that this may be because you're recording to the c disk.
the solution was either change the settings and record to the mmc, or uninstall the recorder and re-install to the mmc and record there too.
sorry that i can't be a little more precise, but I would try saving to the mmc.

That answer makes sense since I've not had this probloid and have always recorded to the card.
Thanx 4 the replies, cant test it out yet coz my laptop is actin up, however still does'nt xplain y the memory time came down from 10 min to 224 secs whereas its a brand new phone, no saved documents or nethin. Think something is seriously wrong.
If someone wants to try it out put ur phone infront of a speaker n record, BTW guys you can also use the songs you record as a ringtone !!!!
