new MicroSD need formatting? — Nokia Nseries S60 3.2 Phones (Nokia N78, N79, N85, N86 and N96)

Hi all,
Finally squeezed a new replacement Sandisk 16GB microSD out of Carphone Scarehouse (what a performance!!! 5+ visits to 3 stores before they did it!) after my last one was found to be the root cause of all my grief with my N86.

So, now I have a new MicroSD waiting to go in my phone. What I'd like to know is whether it needs formatting before I use it and if so, what settings sholud I use on my Vista PC while formatting it? e.g. "allocation size units" etc?

As far as I know the Memorycard works different from the HDD on your PC (search the Web) . Anyway you just can put it in your device . The memorycard is just applicable . When you like to format the microSD , you can do it on your Phone .
Menu > Memorycard > Format .
