Has anyone got one that works yet?
I can't find a screen snap app that is able to let me pick a key combo to capture the screen.
For the screensnap app I've got, most key combos it says is acceptable are using the shift key (holding hash) while pressing something else, but this generally has other functions. Has anyone managed to find a combo of keys that works?
Cheers in advance,

there must be a screensnap app for this model of phone!!!?
In case of message "cerificate expired" , set clock back to e.g. 06 aug 2006 , choose third edition :

I already tried this but the cert expired message put me off. however i've tried it again with your trick of back dating the clock and its working. thanks jApi NL!
Could you tell me which is the <edit> key? You get the option of using "<edit>+<0>" or "<edit>+<ok>" or "<edit>+<*>" but I can't seem to work out what edit key is on my N86... cheers!
I use qwerty , E90 , then it is Shift key . E71 is Fn key I believe . It should be on a 12 button keypad the # , which is also Shift . But I tried : no go ... So the options key is left over . The time I set to 10 sec : plenty of time to switch to the other screen . Screensnap also takes pictures while paying a movie ! My last screenshot below ...

So I'm goosed with this screen capture software too? Hash (plus another key) won't work as a capture button... Any other software/ideas?
cheers,

Shortcut , e.g. Edit + 0 , etc . needs two keystrokes .
Options > Take Copy , need also two keystrokes .
So I don't see an argument that Screensnap is not usable .

my apologies! I've didn't quite unserstand your post until I re read it. I now understand I can take screen shots, but only by setting the delay to an amount of seconds (e.g. 10secs like you did) then press "options" while in the screensnap app, then "take screen shot", then I hav 10 seconds to go to the screen I want capturing, when 10 seconds is up, it'll take the snap.
So it there no way I could use a combination of keys to activate the screensnap like my brother does on his N95 8GB? He just presses a couple of buttons where ever he is wanting the snap to be taken and it does it instantly...?
thanks for the help so far!

When you want to use Screensnap it is really a few buttonpresses away to make a screenshot .
e.g you want to capture something in Web . Leave Web open .
Press Menu > Launch Screensnap .
Press Options > Take Capture .
LONGpress (LP) Menu > Select Web . After 10 sec capture .
Now when Screensnap is open in the background it goes even faster .
Web > LP menu > Screensnap > Options > Capture > LP menu > Web .
6 button presses . This is called Multitasking .
Of course I would like to know if your brother has got an easier one .

yes i have,
open screensnap leave it running in background. Then whenever i decide to take a snap just press shift and back space.
Thats it.
Mines N95 8GB though which has a shift key.
Lucky Liam548 ! Are you using Terramobilis Screensnap , or another Software ? With my E90 this default setting doesn't work (Shift+Backspace) . But here I can use Chr+Tab for Multitasking .
It should work on a N86 tough , since it is like N95 8GB a S60 v3 FP2 device .
Edit : Just checked Antony Pranata Screenshot , mentioned above by our much appreciated N/A . That's the one that works in the background . Only one keystroke while viewing the screen to be captured !
