Hi!
I'm desperately trying to find a way to move the SMS messages I received when I had configured messaging to use C drive... to the E drive (SMS folders also, if possible). Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Gilles.

First of all where are your messages are saved on your phone?
Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Other > Memory in use
C: phone Memory? If yes and you want to change its location to E: Memory card you can do so 😉
If your current messages are stored on phone memory, Mark all messages copy to your memory card
Hi!
On the 5800, I can indeed switch from C to E drive. But I have NOWHERE seen an option to copy messages to memory card. Either with the cursor on a specific message or by marking a few messages... no option to copy to somewhere. I can move to folders, but that's it. Folders are on same media (C or E) as Inbox. So no help from that.
Where did you find the "copy to memory card" option?
Gilles.
Hi,
Sorry 😞 Copy to memory card option is not there.
But when you try to change your message storage on Messaging settings, dont your phone ask you to copy your original messages to the memory card?
No it doesn't. 😞

I think all N-Series up to and including S60-3rd Edition (N95) had that option.
For some completely insane and unknown reason the option to move messages whenever you change the storage location has been removed by Nokia or Symbian.
My E71 did that too... pity I can't find it on the 5800.
