Daves Football News & Scores Widget

Very nice still needs some work though.

- Slight transparency so it doesn't look so out of place against the background
- Fully utilise the space available, increase font size a little?
- Option to choose what is displayed, Eg News, News and Scores or just scores.

I know its very early beta an I'm glad your making/made this.
How accurate is the feed your using?

no clue yet. Using several though. Time will tell

right, now searchable. any search you enter will be remembered when you reopen the widget.

if you want to search for liverpool, just enter "liverpool"

if you want to search for liverpool and benitez enter "liverpool benitez"

if you want to search for (liverpool and benitez) or chelse, enter "liverpool benitez, chelsea"

So basically, a space is an AND and a comma is an OR

I just added some basic options for theme colour to match the default n-series white, black and blue themes.

Now at version 1.5

i downloaded it last night Dave, but will go fetch the new version 😊 .... then i'll wait for kick off on saturday and see how it works for me 😉

groovy. there's another update recently, solving an issue with the colours being a bit dodgy in the homescreen view when using the black theme...

Looks like the link through to teletext is updating goals every 10-15 mins for me.

when i do a search on your site for either west bromwich albion or wba i get kicked out and the app closes !!

i don't much care though, we're 3-0 up at the moment 😃

There's a new version of this too, in line with News & S60 News it supports twitter and has a better interface...
