have you restarted your phone?
with the firmware (operating system) 3.16 is a bit haphazard - sometimes it's there, sometimes it ain't.
have you now got a folder called c:\system\apps\phone\oplogo?
In that folder you should have a .bmp
Now, I set mine up manually, but I think that the file should be named according to your country & phone operator (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Mine is 214_07_0.bmp (that's a Spanish operator, you'll have to see what your unique code is)
Lastly, the oplogo must be 97 x 25 pixels.
Hope that helps Paul
how can i created a folder for the logo can you tell me how to do it?and i know the code for ireland but what i need to do with the code is that i need to change that be a name for the file? 😞
Roy, with filemanager, go to c:\system\apps\phone.
Then options, new folder.
Then rename that folder via options, rename.
Then, copy the file from wherever you may have it (there is a search option, but it's probably in c:\nokia\images).
Then, paste it into the oplogo folder, and rename (both steps via options).
I don't mean the country prefix (+44, +34, etc), it's a specific ID for the operator which relates to country & operator. Maybe someone else on the forum knows the code for Ireland (or has anybody made it work without all this jumping thru hoops??)
It works just like windows. Actually, it works better!

Roy I found the easiest way to change oplogos is using SeleQ. Download the trial. Send file via BT to phone. Open SeleQ. Go to Inbox (System/mail/) Go to options. Select set as oplogo and SeleQ does the rest. Even restarts phone.
sorry i dont have any file on c:/ call system and i have a system file on d:/ and every time i set the pic to operator logo then it will atomatic restart my phone after that then the phone is back again but still is the boring logo again
what is selectQ is that some of the software for the phone?

Yes it's a file manager program.
You can download a trial at the Ximplify site

If you check The FAQ on this forum you will find instructions on how to change oplogos with SeleQ
