Business Week have released their latest "Top 100 Global Brands" and not surprisingly telecommunications and IT companies are riding high in the list. Nokia is in fifth place and the highest placed non-US company, just behind IBM (#2) and Microsoft (#3), while Google has climbed up to #7 while Apple pops in to #20.

Here we go again more Litchfield bias, this site should be all about Nokia. Nokia tinted spectacles. How can a phone company using S60 a touch OS written by Shakespeare possibly hold such a position in the world? They don't even have a masturbation app ffs.

Everyone knows that Apple should be number one and Nokia are doomed, their share price has crashed and they are going to the wall. Nokia shouldn't even make the top 1000 according to my iPhone app that I got from the app store for free.

Apple should not be no1.

You can measure their installed mobile devices in just 10s of millions, a minute percentage, the total market is measured in billions. They are a niche player!! Nokia you can meaure their installed mobile devices in the 100s of millions or 10s of percent.

Next you will be suggesting that Android is the holy grail of mobile OSs - fool.

Anybody who suggest that Apple should be no 1 is just another idiot who can't read. This isn't UK/US centric, this is about GLOBAL brand. Nokia far outstrips Apple as far as global recognition and sales are concern. This is fact, not opinion.

I find it absolutely amazing that there are at least two people in the world who are unable to spot the most obvious spoof posting ever.

It looks like a sarcastic imitation of a typical Apple fanboy, not a genuine opinion.

Dear readers ,
We were just overviewing the last century-half . Those were the days when ZTE started to eat from the Symbian rack , introducing Symbian rockets . And ITG eating from Microsoft with their xpPhone ( http://www.xpphone.com/en/product/functions.html ) . Nokia slowly changed to Aikon and Apple became an Orange .
Nowadays we are using Aikon WFON on Orange .
We are viewing the Internet just by the means of a small Cornea-implant . Changing the Webpages by just one thought . A small NSWI (nano sensor wifi inplant) in our brains as a client to the WFON (WorldFON) works like a charm .
Thinking of 2009 , it shows me 2009 . Thinking of the future , it shows me the ...... Right !
Battery charging is vanished by just eating one Apple a day .
Social meeting is a matter of instance . One thought brings my friend or collegues into my eye . Another thought brings my voice into their ear . And vice versa .
There is of course a downside to our innovative system . It is the fysical strain to get every day one Apple .

masturbation app? this exists. i got it from getjar. and nokia's share value may have decreased in recent times but they're going through a transitional perioda. you know, at least everything is not hinged on the performance of one person (jobs). His health directly correlates to the pps of apple. Nokia deserve this positione of numero five. Adeus

I estimate that in five years time assuming the pace of the technology market accelerates, that whichever global company has maximum presence and strength in maintaining a vertical and seamless os will be the number one recognised brand. This will be due to its immediate recognition across the computing and mobile device spectrum. This is the big prize all major players are pursuing and this is why Nokia is investing in maemo to a greater extent with the arrival of the N900.
