HELP Bluetooth Issue.

Hello,

I had issues with my internal GPS so decided to buy a Bluetooth GPS for the time being. Bought it and all well and good until it came to using it as well as my car kit. I was driving through a town and needed to hear the instructions to turned on the BT car kit to listen when I noticed as soon as the man said the first instruction it froze out the GPS unit, it then required a reboot and tried again, then the instructions came through garbled and sped up.

I read the manual which says you can have multiple BT connections at once but though it wasn't possible for a car kit and GPS at the same time, that was until I took my phone in for repair and they gave me an E66 as a loan, connected that to the GPS and car kit and it worked a treat, I could stream music and use the BT GPS at the same time with no issues.

Makes me think that the bandwidth of the N97 BT must be narrower than other phones or it's an N97 issue, seems the N97 has AVRC issues too. Think Nokia need to look at this as I'm not the only one with these problems.

Your thoughts?

Keiran.

My N97 runs fine with my Nav Man B10, but I have not had chance to try more than one BT connection at once.

One thing I have found is that it would not work or connect at all if you have any other GPS devices in your pairded bluetooth device list. Dont know why this is but once I delete my old GPS device from the list my new Navman B10 worked a treat.
