Downgraded BBCIplayer

3 replies · 1,729 views · Started 27 September 2009

I went to ovi store or whatever it is called and it said I needed to update my BBCIplayer. I already had V2.01, and I assumed there was a new version. So I upgraded, or I thought I was. It actually downgraded it to V1.60.

Now, I don't have as many features as I had with V2.01.

So, how the hell do I get it back to V2.01?

The version on ovi store is V1.60, even though it claims to be v2.01.

I didn't know there was even a v2.01! I've had v1.60 all of the time.

Normally you can get the latest BBC iPlayer from the Beeb themselves directly at:

...but I've just tried and it's still v1.60. What "new" features does v2.01 have?

Maybe v2.01 is a vodafone thing????

It always declared itself as v2.01.

I seem to recall that there were more options including live tv and possibly live radio options.

I don't see them now with V.1.60

I think I will save my settings and files and try a hard reset.

Can someone enighten me how I return the phone to the original vodafone settings as it came out of the box?
