Clock and Alarm issues!!

I recently noticed issues with my clock which seems to be losing time.

Also, on occassions when I set my alarm, it doesn't go off at all at the specified time. The only way to get it to work again is by rebooting.

Any solutions? explanations?

First thing to check is:-

Clock > Options > Settings > Auto time update (set to On)

Auto time update is a nightmare if you are going to be changing time zones at all as it will shift all your appointments buy the time difference. This sounds handy, but when you are in the UK planning meetings for next week in the States you want to be able to put them in at the local time, i.e. meeting at 9am. What you don't want is to put them in and get over there and then find out that everything has been shifted to 3am.
