Hello everyone, I am new here.
I found the forum through a net search and posting here with hope that someone could assist with a problem.
My wife has the N95 8gb model on Vodafone PAYG. Over the past couple of weeks, problems have occured. The handset keeps cutting off, or rebooting (if thats the correct name for it), every couple of seconds. If its not doing this, it keeps turing itself off. The battery life is still very good, so we ruled that out. I reset the handset, it was fine for 3 days then it reverted back to going off. The reset was very tedious as the phone kept rebooting itself every 3 seconds. Since the reset, the phone still reboots, but every other minute.
Any help with this would be very much welcomed.
Jonathan
I think of a few possibilities . It's NOT battery , since battery low just shuts of the phone without rebooting .
1) memory shortage : read this thread for tips :

2) Corrupted file . Do a Hard Reset , after backing up your personal data .
Don't reinstall a Complete Backup , since the corrupted file might reinstall again . Just reinstall the wanted data . Read my post for reset here :

3) Hardware issue : most probably not , but could be .....
4) Did you read this thread about the firmware ?
