WARNING TO EVERYONE: SPEED DIAL BUG

7 replies · 3,512 views · Started 11 March 2003

Just thought I would post it again with a clearer topic so that no one will make the same mistake. Druzel and I have expereinced it already.

DO NOT EDIT THE CONTACTS THAT ARE IN(ASSIGNED TO) YOUR SPEED DIAL because it will lock up that speed dial location and the contact assigned to it and not allow you to add any other contact on that loaction anymore. It wil also lock up that contact on your address book. You will not be able to edit nor delete that contact anymore.
SOLUTION: System restore or reformat...

A glitch that everyone should know!

mine is OK with this actually.

I have edited a few contacts, and it just clears the speedial slot back to empty.

Maybe we have different software versions????

Yes it clears the slot, buy can you try adding someone on the slot again? Or deleting/editing the name you just deted?
