Hello,
Well the phone came back from a 3 week repair still broken so after a heated email being sent to the shop they have agreed to swap it for a new one again. Good news.
However I need advice as to what to look for on the phone box to make sure it's a newer one that doesn't seem to have the GPS issues? Do you think it'll have V12 on?
Thanks, Keiran.
From what I've read, all phones that shipped with v11 are fine. You can check this on the back of the bock where it says 'SW ID'
Hi,
Yeah it came with V11 and all is fine! Came with the new Maps BETA installed and worked a treat getting me from Guildford to Gatwick without a drop!

Keiran.
It came with the latest Nokia Maps beta 3.03(54) installed!
That sounds very odd. Would appear to be a refurbished/returned phone since Nokia Maps beta would not come pre loaded. :con?
Hi
It had a life timer of 0000000:00. They took it off the shelf of new ones, so I hope they're not selling refurbished phones to new customers?
This is the page that says what version I have, doesn't have the (54) in it, maybe it's out of beta now?

Keiran.
Ha! Ha! Ha!
That is beta. So I would guess that if it was already on it then it's a return or second hand phone as the beta version is not part of any firmware release to date.
Oh really? Looks just like the BETA I had on my old phone that I installed myself!
That's good then you had me scared! Didn't want a used phone!
So what has the BETA got that this doesn't? Should I upgrade to that?
Thanks for the link.
The pictures on that showing what it looks like it identical to mine.
So whats the differance between 3.03 MINE and 3.03(54) BETA?
I do hope they're sending out new phones with the new Ovi Maps and I don't have a reconditioned or used one?
