Did the V12 update OTA this morning while I was at work.
I did the V11 update previously via OTA without backing up and didn't have any problems or lose data, so stupidly assumed the same here.
Unfortunately I hadn't read the warnings on this forum before doing the V12 update, and despite Nokia's warning to do backup before updating I proceeded anyway because I don't have a memory card. STUPID I know.
Updated successfully but as with everybody else who has updated OTA I lost packet data and Wlan!😮:icon13:😡
After trying for an hour to get my connections back (with tons of googling) it seemed there was no solution other than a hard reset, which I had to do in the end because I don't have a backup of my phone (no memory card, and for some reason, can't install Nokia suite on my PC).
Well after that phone seems to be still running V12 and I got my connections back, also to my suprise still had some apps and all my pics, music, notes on the mass drive.
Plus I now have 50mb on c/drive😊😃
The only things I need to reinstall that is of use to me is the youtube app that came with the phone.
Does anyone know where I can find this? It's not in the OVI store.
Also, I paid for the license for Adobe reader and bought a game from OVI.
Is there any way of getting these back without having to pay again?
