I installed the Maps 3.1 update and used it to navigate me whilst driving this afternoon.
Exited the program, but now I see the "GPS" signal come up now and again with the packet-data icon. Is it trying to determine my position (even though I'm not using maps).
When I click on the icon in the top right hand corner of the scree it says "gps available"?
What's going on?
