"out of memory" error

2 replies · 5,568 views · Started 01 October 2009

Hi all,

When you get a new text message, your E71 can read it out for you. Very handy indeed, just awake, just press the left soft-button for a while and you don't even have to open your eyed to check new messages!

Problem is though, most of the time my E71 tells me it's out of memory, please close apps and continue. Very annoying, especially since all my apps are closed!

Anyone get's the same error and had a solution?

Regards,

Niels

Sorry that I don't have the straight answer to your question . Maybe it is just a bug . For instance when I want to set a picture as a background in "Homescreeen" I get this message . Probably because of to many pictures in the device . So instead I go to the picture and set it in Options to background . There are a few more annoyances like this .
Maybe a good idea , to grap some tips about saving memory from these threads :

Without following the links, my E71 reports out of memory error messages when I have several hundred messages in the one folder. Clearing out a bunch of emails solves these issues.
