Time problem

Ive got an annoying problem.

Every time I switch my phone off sets the clock one hr behind.

Ive tried changing it (and yes, I push return and done) and the clock gets updated, but as I said, every few hrs or whenever I turn the phone off it changes the time again..

Im stumped.

Hope someone has an solution.. Its F@#$ing annoying!

I have the same problem, which started after the time change here in Latin America.... I've tried checking and unchecking the various Summertime options... but it makes no difference. Also unchecked the setting phone to PC time option... same problem.

you know guys
i have the same problem

but my one stes forward 3 hours :\
randomly..

its after i installed worldmate :\ i noticed it changes the time by itself.. so i completelly UNinstalled worldmate..but it still happens..

damn 3 ahead is NO good :\

Hey that happens when you put your phone on the USB crandle! It justs synchronizing the time of P800 with your Computers time! If you dont get the time zone correctly on both your computer and P800 you will face that problem! Or else you can just find on the taskbar the option of not syncing your P800's time with your PC 😃

I understood the feature that the phone synchronises time with PC, but it does it incorrectly. I will tell you the example. I live in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Central Asia(GMT+6), so it is my primary location set. When I set the second position to London (GMT) before synchronisation the time is shown correctly 13:00PM (Almaty), 7:00AM (London). When I synchronise with my PC, the primary time turns to be 14:00PM as if it is GMT+7. But this is incorrect. And NO manupulation with "summertime" option in the phone helps. Is there any solution, except that to turn off time sync with PC?

THanks in advance.

I agree with the above. I the settings are correct on the P800, the PC, and the sync time with PC setting is off, and the time is still periodically reset on the P800.

Doesn't sound like it's to do with the PC sync then... What is your firmware you lot?

hi you guys, count me in. I got the same problem.... :-?
hopefully the new upgrade will fix this problem...

Alexey I have the latest firmware of the P800 R1G05. And for Greece where I live it has 4 different towns you can choose from! The only one that the time zone is correct is Athens which is the Capital of Greece. Greece is +2 timezone but except Athens which is correctly set to +2 timezone all the others are +0 zone. I guess its a bug! Try the capital of your country and see if its ok! But still SE has to fix that on later firmware updates!

Hey...I thought it was just me screwing something up. Every so often I notice my phone is out by one hour as well. It appears this has nothing to do with syncing and it happened before I installed Worldmate. I'm still running R1B and will do so until I am in London next and CPW agrees to upgrade me to the new firmware.

it's not just time problem, also date. did u guys have the same problem? every three or four times of turn off P800, i'll have a date faster. is just me? weird?

Has there been a fix for this yet? I have a friend who is having the same problem and I just cant seem to figure it out 😞 Summertime is unckecked, week starts monday. Time just goes off by itself 😞 I am not having this problem though but if I do it sure would be a pain in the a*s.

Sounds like it might be 'Daylight Savings' related. I noticed the same problem this morning whereby my phone was an hour behind. I do recall the SE upgrade from their site (1.3) listed a problem fix for the Southern Hemisphere Summertime option which apparently has a bug.

Don't be sad ,,
Evil13 has the way to fix such problem.

ok..

I notice that some of the cities are not correct configerd with the london time.
make the primary time set to london UK.
and your secondary time is your country. (find right city the reprsent the correct time) ..
