Nokia Music

Ok, this is probably not the right place to post this. But I use a N97 and the problem is with my N97, so I'm posting it here. Sorry mods, if you need to move it then do so.

Well, with that over, on to the problem.....

I have bought several albums (music) online at Nokia Music and when I go to syncronise with the phone I am told that I do not have the rights......

WTF!!!!!

Is this normal? I really do not understand, has someone been drinking too much? (apart from me).

If someone can enlighten me I would appreciate it

Thanks,

Barrie

I've experienced this as well, but thankfully only with individual tracks.

Music bought through Nokia Music is DRM protected, so you can only download it to the same phone/pc X number of times. I'd soft-reset my phone a couple of times and redownloaded them, until I got the same message as you.

In my situation, it kinda makes sense cos I'd reached my download limit. If you don't believe that you have, maybe a quick email to Nokia might sort things out.

Hope this helps.

Thanks zxon. I have not reached the max because I only downloaded them to the pc and this is the first time I am trying to sync. It really does not make sense. I'm gonna get rid of the DRM and I will not be buying any more music through Nokia.

Cheers,

Barrie
