Samsung's first Series 60 phone
as am i. i might e-mail samsung again, stalking is fun ^_^
but i am now torn, the D700 or the 6600. decisions decisions. which will come first will probably decide though, cos i have no patience at all.
6600 *will* be released before the D700, that's almost a certainty!
I to am not at all patient but I'm not a big fan of the 6600 or any other S60 devices at the moment, I like the design of the D700 better than just about any other phone I can think of...I'm hooked
E-Mails to Samsung aren't getting me anywhere either....Malebuffy was told by Samsung that it won't be released in the UK at all!, but they could have been talking about the MS powered version me thinks :roll:
The D700 may be nearer than we think. This article posted today has this quote.
"Samsung plans to sell smart phones that feature an on-phone operating system to run software in North America from the third-quarter. The company is also preparing to export new cell phones powered by the Symbian operating system to Europe beginning in the fourth-quarter. "

Great idea. I think there will be more than a "couple". 😃 Make sure to take some of the phones being developed in their secret R&D center while at it. 8) There must be a reason why they banned camera phones in their research centers...

there have been conflicting opinions, ranging from the weird "it's in the series 60 spec" to the "it wasn't in the cebit handset but will be in the release" (both i think were in the same post in this thread ^_^ incedently how long would it take to swim to Korea? just a thought...
