A quick summary of JustYak from their web site:

JustYuck. Its not free even. And the screenshots are fake.
Tipic is better, and free...
best is IM Plus from Handango. This client simulates direct the various Chat Services like MSN, ICQ and AOL. Tipic goes through their Server where they make the switch. Hence you need special registration from Tipic, where from IM Plus you are direct...... any other views

All this progs are good, but sms is cheaper, to use this programs i need to be connect (gprs) and in Portugal GPRS isn�t cheap....
Does anyone knows if i connect to gprs and just the be connect i pay any thing ?

With GPRS you should only pay for the bytes you send/receive.
You should check with your operator though...
Is there a demo version of IM+ ?
I'm NOT talking warez or crack but a DEMO.
I'm on T-Mobile and their GPRS is EXPENSIVE at 2p per kb so I want to work out how much it will cost to run this on my phone before commiting to a purchase.
Unless anyone out there is on T-Mobs and knows the answer?

Tried both JustYak and Tipic.
Prefer Justyak more, it can support other models not on Synb, allows me to switch phone. and also the Chat rooms, which is not on tipic

No. As they think it gets cracked.

They now have a demo version of IM+!!
Most the features are stripped out and you can only send 2 messages at each connection.
It's all I needed to have a play - and imeadiatly buy it!
Fantastic program!!
No going thru a proxy OR paying a 3rd party for each message!
You just pay for the GPRS Data - cheaper than SMS!
AND - found out today, T-Mobile have a new GRPS Data package...
�20 a month for 10mb - MUCH cheaper than 2p per kb if you intend to use more than a meg a month.

oh thats a crazy price.
in germany with o2 (interkom) u pay for 10kb only 10cents. 1kb 1cent. its a fair price.
but its the only cheap way in germany. the other would 4 every kb 10 cents.
but i must pay 35c per day that suxx. but its okay. i have a lot of money on my prepaid card. over 500� *G*

yeah, i know it but i need an extension keyboard to be able write messages fast enough. i cant type on the keypad. its horrible.

kinda off the topic but i would like to know about the email feature. to send/receive emails do i need to have GPRS activated, if not what costs are involved?
Oh and will i be able to send images that i take via MMS to a Panasonic GD88?

Yes, you need GPRS Internet connection (Not GPRS WAP) The cost depends
on operator. (I have unlimited GPRS for 17euros/month :P )
