Well after the last disaster updating v12, and with the upcoming v20, I really need to get myself a memorycard to backup data.
What is sufficient enough? Will 2gb or 4gb be sufficient?

My backup folder is only about 14MB in size, so yours might be a similar size. Feel free to get pretty much any size you want.
My Sandisk 8 GB class 2 works fine . 6519 MB used 1263 MB free . There is also the Ultra class 6 , which is faster . Anyway more bytes gives room to play around . Like using the micro as a USB-stick .....
always in your pocket .

Cool. Thanks guys, think I'll go for the 4gb one😉
Don't go for ones unpacked on Ebay as they will most likely be fake.
I agree - make sure you buy a genuine brandname (Kensington, Fujitsu, Sandisk).
Size-wise, make sure that your desktop PC memory-reader slot can handle the size.
My HP desktop can only handle 4 GB (Win XP Media Centre edition limitation).
At present I use a Fujitsu 1 GB microSD with my N97 and I have a microSD to SD adapter/holder that I use to plug into my desktop for transferring files.
