Today I was using my Nokia HS-45 (stereo earbuds with microphone/controls) with my N97, I decided to pass some time by watching a video with Realplayer.
I was surprised to find that with the HS-45 plugged in, the video shows as black on the screen and you only hear audio!!!
Is the "special" plug which incorporates the call microphone interpretted by Realplayer as the TV-out?
This means if that you have to carry a separate pair of non-Nokia stereo earbuds if you want to watch a video quietly.
What were the product "geniuses" thinking?!?!
