The rather hotly-anticipated (and now slightly late!) Nokia E72 is now officially available for pre-order from the Nokia online shops. Here in the UK it's £359 including VAT. The E72 improves on the bestselling E71 with a better camera, new software pack (including more Ovi services built-in, plus the full editing version of Quickoffice 6 Premier) and optical trackpad.

Think stevie must have been smoking the good stuff when he posted this article.
The E72 still isn't listed on http://shop.nokia.co.uk as of 10.52am.
It is.
Its under the New Releases page rather than coming soon/preorder.
It is now, it wasn't there earlier when the post was made!
It's in the pre-order section now too.
329.99 at play.com with a Nov 30th release date...
Things are hotting up on the price front! Should be cheaper with discount codes...
In South Africa its been available for order since the 1st of Oct. At a hefty price tag, however...
Also available since the 1st is the n97mini, currently more expensive than the normal n97...
Is it really worth that much money though?
Yup, the link goes to a site offering personal service amongst other things. Perhaps that was the way Steve's mind was working when he posted 😉
Below is the official link to the pre-order page, not the botched commission grabbing link:

But will we ever see this (or any other new e-series) without a camera, for those of us that work in secure sites that don't allow camera devices? 😞
Personally, I'd love either this or the e52 (in the fabled black case) with no cameras so I can have a decent *new* phone at work!
Apparently it's being released in Australia next week/week after.

Thats a valid request. I remember earlier Nokia used to offer some eseries models with the option of without a camera. I wish they would do that again with some of currently models.
