I noticed this morning that there's a recycle bin app on ovi store, but it costs 12.99 !

has anyone tried it ?

I can understand apps like games, photo editors, themes, extra dictionaries and stuff like that having to be paid for but a useful recyle bin would have been nice preloaded in the system (instead of boingo :rolleyes😊

OK... who let angiepea go shopping in the Ovi store?

12.99p for a Recycle bin!!!

"Its a powerful tool to have in your mob. Restore accidental deleted imp contacts/ mess. Delete & Restore your secret mess/contacts. Delete the data permanently from your mobile. Email: [email protected]"

Or you could just go to your backup on Memory card or PC Suite and do the same thing for free. 😊

hhhmmm the internal back up is for daily, it still doesn't give me leeway for "accidents" - for instance, if i set my back up for 9am every day and i delete a message "accidentally" that i've received at 9.30am then it's gone forever - right ??

i want a recycle bin, i want it 😃

I suppose that deleting your texts straight after a backup would not be an option then?

After all the N97 can store texts on C; E: and F: drives and can go up to 999 sent texts or you could mark your texts and transfer them into a saved folder until you decide you really, really, really don't want them.

I'm not helping am I?

(Age, wisdom and experience has taught me one thing... in a situation like this... just 2 words... "Yes dear"😉

Recycle bin sounds really good... just what you need.

Let us know what you think of it. 😃
