is there any side effects to using Space Doubler ? (ie does software take longer to load, is any software incompatable etc)
Sdoubler automatically decompresses apps when u decide to run them,so it takes slightly longer to run them than without it.So far, i've never had any problems with any app using it and i didn't notice anyone else mention having such kind of problems.
Smart profiles wont run while compressed.
some programs like goboy, e profiles and cpl more dont work when compressed. other than that its fine no probs. :robot:

But i'm puzzled: if I sum all the apps and mem usage, total comes around 2Mb...and it says 3.4M...Any idea where the difference comes from???
I tried skin editor but i get out of memory message when trying. I guess I need to install stacker or doubler...
@jesal, lakeywhite, re sdoubler and apps like eprofiles, minigps, worldclock, screensaver:
they DO work while compressed. You only need to uncompress if you want to modify any parameters - the programmed tasks are executed independently of whether the apps' are compressed or not
I don't know about sprofiles tho.
