😮Just turned my phone back on after installing a new app,the phone gave a quick vibrate as normal, the screen lit up,flickerd a bit then some lines flashed up ,the screen went white, then turned it's self off!:con?
Any ideas, looks like a trip to the repair shop.

I did a hard reset about an hour before hand.
I cant even get the home screen up,the thing is not turning on.
Try removing the battery and SIM card for a few minutes and then reinserting them.
Before trying to power up the phone, plug it into the charger and see if the charging mode is begun.
If not...it's bricked.
If it does begin to charge, give it an hour before trying to boot again.
Thanks i'll give it a go.
Well, connected it up to the charger, phone beeps every few seconds and the screen lights up then fades.
The charging light goes on and off:con?.
You fail to say what the app was that you installed.

I wanna say it was "iBrick" but that would be rude.
bish1450 - I hope your phone gets sorted out soon 😊
@bish1450 : did you check the screen (un)lock key ? It's an N97 item ....
😊 Regards jApi NL
All sorted,
All i did was hold down the shift, backspace, and space key while pressing the power button, hold the 3 keys down untill you get the 'welcome' tone.
This gives the phone a hard reset.
The app was flip font by the way.
