Hi all,

I recently downloaded ovi maps uk + us however it saved to the phone instead of my memory card....im now left with 7.9mb of memory on my c:...

Could anyone tell me how i can move the said maps to my memory card to free up some space

Also, like most i was tired of waiting for new software so unbranded the phone and changed the product code, my phone may go off to Nokia soon for repair, by using NSS can i simply change it back to the original product code?

If I can, will this show up on any checks that Nokia carry out ?

Cheers

Matt

Maps can only be installed to C.
you could try uninstalling things like facebook and amazon and bloomsberg (stock things). Then delete the installation file for MailForExchange that is somewhere on C:\Data i think.

Yes, it will show up on Nokia's systems if you change product code, then update, then change back. There is no point in doing it at the moment, you might aswel wait a few weeks for the new v20/2.0 firmware to come out.

.

Also clear cache in browser that will save you up to 5mb go to - options - clear privacy data - cache do this regularly if you use browser a lot

Also set all your messaging\email storage to mass memory - messaging - options - settings - other - memory in use , and move existing already saved to mass memory

Also reset google maps if you have it installed to your c drive. When i reset google maps it freed up 15mb of more space.
