stacker vs sdoubler.

(alltought theyre using the same freakin ZIP methods in packing just DONT USE SDOUBLER. Want to know why? lolz. Just install SDoubler and see what i mean. (shitty-code,2manySystemErrors)

Well, I uninstalled Sdoubler yesterday & installed Stacker, to try it out

I like the "one stop shop" of compress contacts and compress memory, although the utilities Nameswap & Memory already do this.

Stacker is more visual, you can see the un/compressing progess better, but I think Sdoubler is slightly quicker. (both PsiNT & Symbianware clain their software is faster & compresses better...) Sdoubler has more options for compressing & uncompressing

Also, I much prefer the free memory display of Sdoubler, and the ability to work with java apps and messages.

Lastly, I have never had system errors with Sdoubler, but 3 times now I have had a system error with Stacker whilst refreshing after compressing a file, which was impossible to stop (had to exit to the phone's menu)

So for stability & look and feel, I go for Sdoubler (since I haven't done a benchmarking on compression ratios and times, I think they are broadly similar).

I am not sure about this...

i tested Stacker 3 and SDoubler 1.40...

SDoubler look faster... and no ERRORs...

and SDoubler have the PACK and UNPACK ALL APPS... that's is usefull..

STACKER don't have that option...

and it's faster to EXIT from SDoubler with one softkey at right.. EXIT..
than use the menu and go to the last option QUIT like STACKER...

little details but SDobuler look more intuitive ...

The Browser on Stacker i don't use it too much.. because i don't compress things that can't be compressed too much, so this option means more MEM space for stacker...

SDoubler use less mem space installed (if you use PSILOC libs for other apps you save more mem with sdoubler)

Anyway.. i use SDoubler 1.40 by now... i think that Stacker have more publicity and more people talking about that app.. but SDoubler it's very good too.. and to me.. is more efficient and faster..

stacker allows u to do sumthing else while its stacking while s dbouble takes ages to pack

SDoubler it's multitasking too while is packing... and/or unpacking

and you don't mention the long time REFRESHING the APP LIST on STACKER...

SDoubler refresh the app list faster..

If you change settings in Sdoubler to Multasking on start and exit, you can also carry on using phone. Sdoubler definately is much quicker than stacker and also less buggy. Stacker gives higher compression, but not much difference.

Which one compresses your apps if you installed both? Which is the master? Stacker compressed sdoubler? or sdoubler compressed stacker?

yup agree with you irving ihave sdoubler compress stacker as i only use stacker to compress contact memory ... other than that use sdoubler hehe 😃

u r all lucky that u can afford to buy 2 applications with the same functions

i dont find that a wise move unless you get the apps for free or if you are a beta-testers that has the priveledge of getting a license or registration code from the developers.

I've have had some problems whit sDoubler, couple of strange errors and its enough... And Stacker doesn't ever prompt any errors! So my vote is STACKER. I appreciate stability very much!

Why get yourselves into trouble?
I don't use 7650.
I've tried the phone and found that it doesn't not help me but keep me busy & cause trouble.
I will stick back to those handset customized OS phone other than Series60.
Until one has come out a better design of the Series60 phone.
I think somebody have to improve the design of the Series60.

For sure the, 7650 is aimed at the tech savy consumer, perhaps a 3310 would suit you better? 😃

The 7650 causes me no trouble, and along with being a phone it helps keep me organised, and occupied if I ever get bored.

Only if the previous version installed on your device was cracked :evil:
because the installation substitutes cracked file with newer and original one.

Stacker's upgrade is free, like upgrades for our all applications.

So, you need to download and simply install the newer version over the old one only. If your version is registered it won't ask for registration again and will keep your old reg. info.

Nothing personal, and I really don't care which version you use or don't use. Only one point to highlight: if you have problem with CRACKED version it doesn't mean that the original version is crappy, and please don't make it as your argument and please don't write our support about it!

P.p.s. in cracked version of Stacker Phantasm forgot to include to installation file:

1. Device identification id - installation will say that the application is not compartible with your phone.

2. Some scripts that are executed during the installation of original version!!!! Phantasm included only files. => In some situations the application won't be installed correctly (especially if you doing upgrade)!

3. Installation was not signed

That is why some crack users are I.D.I.O.T.
