For some unknown reason but I expect it is connected to the fact that my phone has been dying on me or refusing to wake up when I slide the switch on the side over the past week, 2 of my homescreen widgets have vanished.
I have had to reinstall them.
facebook and Accuweather.
How do I put them back on the homescreen?

Something very strange going on here!
Since my last spot of bother with losing 2 x widgets from my home screen, and the phone appearing dead or freezing...........
It's just happened again, phone would not respond to the slider switch.
I removed battery for a minute and replaced and booted up.
Now 1 x widget has vanished from the home screen.
Accuweather. This was one of the original two that vanished.
I really am regretting opting for this phone and hope that V2.0 firmware sorts it out, or I may well just argue with Vodafone that the N97 is not fit for the purpose it was purchased for!

sounds like a hard reset to me AGAIN
