Need help in repairing my E90

I use an european edition of the e90 in the US. My device stopped working a couple of months ago; it just won't power on anymore and its not battery related. I sent it to Nokia Authorized repair center and they just sent it back with the folowing disclaimer: "we regret to inform you that the product you sent us is not a US Device. ...parts for non-US devices are not available for US reoairs". They did not even open it to diagnose the problem. Personally, I doubt if that is a truthful statement cos I don't think the components (hardware) are that much different for different locations. [Of course I may be wrong]

I come from 9500 and use the e90 a lot for my small business. I do have a lot of stuff on it that I need to retrieve.
Does anybody on the forum know where in the USA or Canada that I can have this device repaired?

Under Warranty : According to European Consumer Regulations your retailer ought to help you . Its also a question of service .
Did you try rebooting the phone , while MemoryCard and/or SIM card was removed ?
BTW : when you don't mind deleting all data from C: (device) memory , like Calendar , Contacts , Settings , Bookmarks , etc. , but want to retrieve only your data from E: (memorycard) : try Vulcan Death Grip to bring phone back to life . When the official Nokia Service in N-A "can" not help you , I would try a recommended local Phone repair .
