Does a hard reset wipe everything (phone memory + mass storage) or just the phone memory?

Just the phone memory.
Did a 'soft' re-set the other day ( restore Factory Settings ) , and then had to go back into a few applications to re-set them to my preferences. One I forgot to do was the Clock and the alarm settings.
When you set a repeating alarm, you can also choose workdays, weekends etc. I choose workdays and then also specify which are my work days. Saudi is a Sat to Weds working week, so these are my work days.
Except that on Sunday morning, my alarm didn't go off.......had forgotten to re-set my workdays. Was only an hour late for work. :redface:
