It showed up unexpectedly on my doorstep this morning... one of the first Piel Frama P800 leather cases (cost 60 including shipping within Europe). I've only had it for 5 minutes, but thought I'd share my first impressions...
Pro's
The thing is obviously made out of quality material, is packaged like a luxury item, and is gorgeous. It has space for two extra memory stick duo's in the flap, as well as a slot for the plastic stylus (because the stylus becomes inaccessible when you put the phone in the case). Just as handy.
The hole on the back lines up well with the camera lens and there's a whole for the rear speaker as well.
The belt clip is nice to use as well, as the original SE one didn't come with any kind of loop or clip.
Con's
The fit seems a bit tight, and I have to really work hard to get the two snaps closed. But being leather, I imagine it will stretch.
Opening the P800 flip is one of the other difficult things about the case. The leather strap supporting the bottom of the phone doesn't allow the flip to open 100% (about 85%), which can make it a bit unhandy.
It's not quite as easy as I'd hoped to get the thing in and out of the belt clip. It's a bit of a tight fit, and you have to struggle a bit to get it out (which will be a problem when the phone rings).
I'll report back after I've had a few more days experience with it. Overall my impression is positive, it will just take a while to get used to.
hi
I had mine a week now same price all the way to Kuwait.
I would say it is a piece of art .

Getting the case from the clip is a snap but opening the cover to get the call I didnt try as I am using the Bluetooth headset .
I would suggest you give it few tries to streatch the leather otherwise as for a replacement if it is too tight.
My rating for this case is 8/10
thank you for sharing
so where could i get one of these wonderful cases from ?

Hey WinMaster,
I have ordered my case two weeks ago and I am in Kuwait too, still hasn't received mine yet, could you post some pictures? And when have you placed your initial order?
😊
hey Al
They say that there is a 20 day lead time for the case to arrive.
i recieved mine in 2 weeks actually 😊
i dont have a good Digital cam at hand to take good pictures of .
the site has a good pictures collection of the case.
I would get my cam from the office tonight if I can and will post some.
regards..
Cool.. I actually started a thread about this a while back. They told me wait 20 days, but mine is actually being made out of Cow Skin and Crocodile Skin. They charged me close to 100 Euros for it. I hope I get it as soon as you guys did. With the stiffness that some of the members actually have had I wonder if i'll have a tougher time because mine is Crocodile skin. I think I'll call them up and make sure they leave a little breathing room.

I'd bet you got delayed of posting the pictures due to the snow storm we had in Kuwait late Wednesday night 😉
