Unusual Error

I have been getting an unusual error message on my 9210....

Every 10 - 30 seconds a box pops up like this......

------------------------------------
Application Closed
------------------------------------
Application Messaging Watcher
Reason Code e32user-cbase
Reason Number 47

I can close this and continue - but it keeps popping up, even when the case
is closed, often resulting in dozens of the windows needing to be closed...

The only bad effect this has on functionallity, other than the annoying pop up, is that i cant use sms to send or recieve..

I have fixed it by restoring from an earlier back up of the internal memory, but i'd love to know what caused it, i wasnt doing anything unusual when it started.

And i'd also like to know what file was causing it, that when restored from the backup, fixed the problem - in case it happens again......

Tough one i know, but i bet someone else has had this sometime.

THanks in advance

Steve

yeah i had the same problem sometime back...annoying aint it?
its usually caused because of some messaging app installation files getting corrupted. some files can get corrupted with all the transfer of files from inbox to outbox to sent folder, everytime u send a message, sometimes its just not a smooth transfer. this could be recurring problem, especially if you tend to use the communicator really fast & then type another message quickly again, even before the old one is sent. i do that very often (i am faster than the processor can handle....im superman... User posted image ) the best thing to do is to reset the ini files & then install the all-data.sis again. it will be a nice clean install.
i dont think the backup will be able to clean up the app instalation file properly, u might start getting the msg again. i know i did ( a week later )
anyways let me know what happens?

I had the same problem but I fixed it with another way...
I was testing the emesseging from PSINT and I had this sms message in my draft that it wasn't supported and it was created by the same program!!!
Anyway... I've uninstalled the emessenging and then I deleted the unsupported blank sms message and reinstalled the emesseging and voila! everything was ok!

Hope I helped
