Just when i get a phone with a decent screen and D-pad, news comes that Ngage is discontinued

And although a lot of the new phones are on the n-gage site, the N97 isn't, so i assume this is why it wasn't included on the phone or the V2 update.

(EDIT - OOPS just found it)

So the switch is to Ovi, but i'm confused as to why? N-gage is know for gaming, but Ovi?

I quite like the idea of one central place to manage my games, but it seems like they are all going to come as individual programs.

Can anyone give me some idea of how these changes affect the N97 and gaming on it in general.

But surely a nice centralised games app, for the games that are out there would be nice?

Also why is it left to AAS to tell us, surely Nokia should be advising customers about these changes on the Ngage website?

ngage kept till sep 2010, and integrated all games etc into ovi store, the one stop shop for all things nokia!
