Hi,everyone.I would like to ask if anyone know if i can transfer apps to my N7650 using my vodafone live mail not a PO3 mail.
HEL
If you can recieve mail with attachments to your vodafone live email address and retrive it with your 7650 than yes.
Bob
Thanks,bob,but unfortunately i can't.No apps for me,i guess.
If you have a PC, you should be able to pick up a cheep InfraRed adapter, I paid 25 for mine (or even Bluetooth, around 35)
I transfer all my apps now via Infrared.
Saves on the cost of collecting email on the phone and ensures I have a backup of my phone.
No one should be without apps.
Bob
You could even ask a friend with a laptop and Infrared, as the apps are so small you can get a number on a floppy disk and transfer to anyones machine, just an idea.
Let me ask u one more thing. If i get a PO3 account and set it up on my phone, then run p.c suite on a friend's p.c.i've read somewhere in this forum that p.c suite allows u to send files via e-mail.Is it possible?

If you will PC Suite to transfer the software installation (.sis or .jar) you dont need an email account.
A PC, PC Suite, Infrared or Bluetooth connection will solve your problem 😉
That was the problem in the first place. No irda or bt available.
If you have a POP3 account you do not need PCSuite, just send the app via Email from a PC to your email address, then setup your 7650 with the POP3 mail details.
Now connect to that mailbox and download the mail with the application, you should be able to install it no problem at all.
Good Luck
Bob
Thanks again, bob.i'll check it out tomorrow.
