Using Maps 3.03 (but was same using the original installed version)
Phone updated to V2

The red dot seems to put me in the roughly the right place.

But the address thats showing doesn't make sense.

For example I live at number 8, and in my back garden it says i'm at number 7 or Number 14 or about 5 different local addresses.

The Gps, is so much poorer than in my N95 why?
Will i have to wait for the NEXT firmware update?

I get a good lock showing 8 satalites, but the "Location" program shows the accuracy varying between 141meters to 14meters.

I have a hobby that relies heavily on gps accuracy.

And no matter what i do, i can hardly ever get the inside of the compass to turn green, it's normally just grey!

And how come when maps starts up it shows me in the middle of the local lakes!

it's to do with calibration, so when the middle of the compass is green, the maps will turn as you and your phone do.

Unless someone else can offer anything better
