hi guys. i have an old n73, for which the screen is broken. i need some advice for how to get the contacts off of it.
contacts werent on the sim card, so they are definitely on the phone.
n73 with broken screen - need contacts
You will need a new display to see what is happening inside the phone really .
Otherwise it will be trial and error . To start this you will need a PC and cable connected to the phone which is still properly working .
With display not working do this :
Insert SIM card
Power the phone ON and wait a little time
Enter PIN + acivate (D-Pad down) and wait a little
Enter Security Code + activate . (In case code is set)
Connect to PC - preferably in Nokia PC-Suite
When PC sees the phone , press D-Pad down (activation of PC-Suite Mode)
Repeat pressing D-Pad down untill PC-Suite starts copying the Data .
I know : this is working in the dark . So trial and error .....

thats what i was after really, exact button presses lol
im using a cable, so i would like to know if this is for any other connection type, or with a cable. really, i need to know which option is where, with regards to the options that are shown when the cable is connected.
